Integrating your HTX account with Quad Terminal enables efficient trading and portfolio management. Follow these steps to establish a secure connection:
1. Generate an HTX API Key
Log In to HTX
Access your account at htx.com.
Navigate to API Management
Click on your profile icon in the upper right-hand corner.
Select API Management from the dropdown menu.
Create a New API Key
Click on Create API Key.
In the API Key Remark field, enter a descriptive name (e.g., "Quad Terminal").
Configure IP Whitelisting (Recommended)
In the IP Permissions section, select Bind IP.
Enter the following IP address:
3.98.106.53
This restricts API access to Quad Terminal's IP address, enhancing security.
Set API Key Permissions
Ensure the following permissions are enabled:
Read: Allows Quad Terminal to access your account information.
Trade: Allows placing and managing orders.
Do not enable:
Withdraw: To prevent unauthorized fund withdrawals.
Complete Security Verification
Enter your fund password and the 6-digit code from your Google Authenticator app.
Save Your API Credentials
After creation, your Access Key and Secret Key will be displayed.
Important: The Secret Key is displayed only once; ensure you store it securely.
2. Connect to Quad Terminal
Log In to Quad Terminal
Access your account at quadterminal.com.
Navigate to Exchange Connections
Go to the Settings or Account section.
Select Exchange Accounts.
Add HTX Account
Click on Add Exchange or Connect Exchange.
Choose HTX from the list of supported exchanges.
Enter API Credentials
Input the Access Key and Secret Key obtained from HTX.
Save or confirm the connection.
3. Verify Connection
Once connected, Quad Terminal will sync with your HTX account.
Your account balance and trading pairs should be visible within Quad Terminal.
Place a small test trade to confirm that the integration is functioning correctly.
