How do I link my HyperLiquid account?

Integrating your Hyperliquid account with Quad Terminal enables efficient trading and portfolio management. Follow these steps to establish a secure connection:


1. Generate a Hyperliquid API Key

  • Log In to Hyperliquid

  • Navigate to API Management

    • Click on the More button at the top of the page.

    • Select API from the dropdown menu.

  • Create a New API Key

    • In the API Key Name field, enter a descriptive name (e.g., "Quad Terminal").

    • Click Generate to create an API wallet.

    • Click Authorize API Wallet to generate the API secret key.

    • Important: Securely store the API Secret Key; it will be required later.

  • Obtain Your Main Wallet Address

    • Click on the dropdown next to your connected wallet at the top right corner.

    • Note down your Main Wallet Address (also referred to as the Master Account).


2. Connect to Quad Terminal

  • Log In to Quad Terminal

  • Navigate to Exchange Connections

    • Go to the Settings or Account section.

    • Select Exchange Accounts.

  • Add Hyperliquid Account

    • Click on Add Exchange or Connect Exchange.

    • Choose Hyperliquid from the list of supported exchanges.

  • Enter API Credentials

    • Input the following information:

      • Main Wallet Address: Your primary wallet address used to connect to Hyperliquid. NOTE: THIS IS NOT YOUR API Wallet Address shown when API key is generated.

      • API Secret Key: The secret key obtained during the API authorization.

    • Save or confirm the connection.


3. Verify Connection

  • Once connected, Quad Terminal will sync with your Hyperliquid account.

  • Your account balance and trading pairs should be visible within Quad Terminal.

  • Place a small test trade to confirm that the integration is functioning correctly.

By following these steps, your Hyperliquid account will be securely linked to Quad Terminal, allowing you to manage your trades and portfolio effectively.
